The D.C. Divided buried the Charleston Battery, 16-1, under a barrage of hits. Juan Serrano led the onslaught, going 4-for-6 for D.C.. Will Rogers, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 7 hits in 9 innings. D.C. goes to 2-1.

The Divided got an important contribution from shortstop Neil Pippy, who in the top of the fifth hit a 0-1 fastball to right-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Divided ahead, 4-0.
