The Nova Scotia Leviathan did just enough to sneak past the Mexico City Blue Demons, 8-7, at The Dungeon in Halifax. Nova Scotia pitcher Dave Sandoval, in particular, had a standout performance. Masato Rin closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The loss drops Mexico City to 2-2.

In the bottom of the sixth, Nova Scotia designated hitter Feitze Lammers had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Lammers stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 8-6, Nova Scotia. For the game, he was 1 for 4.

"We came out aggressive," said Leviathan manager Tyler Studebaker. "We came out swinging the bats."
