Dirty Reds Rally For Late Win Over Ponies
The Dayton Dirty Reds grabbed a win, 5-3, over the Kingston Ponies at Lang Park. Dayton shortstop Fernando Salinas went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Kingston, with the loss, is still a robust 3-1.

Dayton went up, 4-3, on Juan Álvarez's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Álvarez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Kingston pitcher Sam Malone shaking his head.

"We take it day by day here," said Álvarez, "and today was a good one for us."
