The New Orleans Voodoo scored a convincing win at Grazing Hills, defeating the Colorado Billy Goats, 11-2. One of the hitting stars was Janpey Kille, who is tied for 7th in the PL in hits with 27, who went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Juan Castillo, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits, while fanning 2 and walking 3. The 6th-place Voodoo bumped their record to 12-11.
With New Orleans leading 5-0 in the top of the sixth, Kille batted against Colorado pitcher Shawn Zimmerman. Kille hit a changeup to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season put the Voodoo on top, 8-0.
"What a dismal performance," lamented losing manager Mack Kilkeary.
