Kingston picked up a win at The Dungeon in Halifax, bumping off the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 4-0. Pitcher Li-ping Cheng was a major reason the Ponies emerged victorious. The Ponies now own a record of 10-13.

David Vargas, who finished 4th in the 3L in extra base hits with 49 last year, contributed to the Kingston win with a solo home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the shortstop had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
