Coeur Lose By a Run at D.C.
The D.C. Divided locked up a win at Washington Stadium, knocking off the St. Louis Coeur, 4-3. On the mound for D.C. was right-hander Jeremy Robinson. He played a major role in the triumph. Tommy Huber notched his 5th save of the season. At 11-13, the Divided claim 7th place in the Third League.

Wei-fang Ping was 1-3 for D.C.. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the seventh inning, Ping, who leads the 3L in triples with 3, had a clutch at-bat. Facing St. Louis hurler Dan Hewitt, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Divided a 4-3 lead.

"It was a team effort and I thought the guys had a good plan and approach," said Ping after the game.
