Shredders Need Extra Frames to Get Past Patriots

Fans got some free baseball at Dunkin Donuts Park.
Hollywood beat Boston on the strength of starting pitcher Roy Huntingford's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-2. Bill Owens snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits over 4.1 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season.
Hollywood needed the clutch hitting of Soo-keun Yi to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Shredders on top, 5-2. For the game, Yi had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
In postgame comments, Yi said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
Hollywood now sits at 13-12, while Boston falls to 15-10.
