Stingers Topple Voodoo, 10-5

Behind a solid performance from third baseman Daniel Webster, the Toledo Stingers defeated the New Orleans Voodoo, 10-5. Webster went 3-5 with 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Stingers. Dave Hanna, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. The Stingers now own a record of 18-12.
With the game tied, 5-5, in the bottom of the seventh, Webster had a key at-bat for Toledo. With the bases loaded, Webster hit a 2-run single off Michael Wilson, making the score 7-5, Stingers.
