The Toledo Stingers picked up a win at Pacesetter Park, knocking off the Hollywood Shredders, 3-2. Starting pitcher Kiyonaga Kondo played a key role in the triumph. At 3-1, the Stingers have played well so far.

In the bottom of the sixth, Toledo left fielder Martino Madlad gave his team the lead. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Menacs hit his 1st double of the year. Hollywood pitcher Christos Waddington surrendered it. With that, the Stingers jumped in front, 3-2.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Kondo. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
