New Orleans pitcher Al Hussey did his part in helping his team beat the Hollywood Shredders, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. New Orleans is in second place in the Premier League with a record of 26-19.

New Orleans used a clutch hit from Joe Madden to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"I'm happy we won," said Hussey. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
