Puhi Paselio, who is tied for 8th in the PL in strikeouts with 52, propelled his team to victory over the Buffalo White Walkers. The final score was 7-2, Toledo. Tim Evans earned the save for Toledo, his 4th of the year. With the win, Toledo pushed its record to 27-19.

The Stingers got a big at-bat from second baseman Don Weaver. For the game, Weaver went 1 for 4 with a double. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 6th double of the season gave Toledo a 1-0 lead.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Toledo manager David Bunting.
