Chon Powers Rocketeers to 8-4 Win
Behind the bravura of right fielder Chong-hun Chon, the Seattle Rocketeers topped the Memphis Mockingbirds by the score of 8-4. Chon was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4 for the Rocketeers. Adam Shirley recorded the save, his 2nd. Seattle is now 21-29, while Memphis is 22-28.

Seattle used a well-timed hit by Bartolo Flores to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rocketeers ahead, 5-4. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Chon told the Seattle Chronicle. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
