Yang Lifts Lynx to 8-7 Win
Sang-Seung Yang added some punch to the Calgary offense, helping them outmuscle the Florence Flamingos, 8-7. In the game, Yang was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Richard Case got credit for the save for Calgary. It was his 3rd of the year. The 4th-place Lynx sport a record of 18-16.

Calgary used a timely hit from Kurt Hensley to get the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Lynx ahead, 8-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.
