The Pride earned a hard-fought, 7-6 win in 10 innings at The Bamboo Forest. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Sioux Falls pitcher Dave Henley. Henley went 5 innings and allowed no runs. The defeat makes Sioux Falls 19-23.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop David Miller came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Sioux Falls pitcher Aukthya Shalabh, he hit a 0-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Hartford on top, 6-5.

"It was terrific getting this win," Miller said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
