Loss to Flamingos Extends Milton Losing Streak
Florence right fielder Lorenzo Gutiérrez helped his team beat the Milton Dogfish Head, 5-3. Gutiérrez, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2054 draft, went 2 for 4 for the Flamingos. Eugene Pearce was credited with the save for Florence, his 3rd of the season. The losses continue to mount for Milton, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

Shortstop Ángel Ortíz made an impact for Florence, when he swatted a 3-run home run off Mike Russell in the bottom of the fifth. For the contest, Ortíz was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.
