Dan Caine brought his A-game to help Tortolita defeat the Austin Black Mambas, 3-1. Andrew Shirley came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The Drummers go to 18-29 with the win.

Dave Cahill, who is tied for 6th in the SAAA in hits with 53, aided the Tortolita cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 2-3 with a double.
