Shredders Collect 4-1 Win Versus Toledo
|
The Hollywood Shredders took on the Toledo Stingers at Pacesetter Park.
Hollywood starter Chris Johnston pitched well against the Toledo Stingers at Pacesetter Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Picking up the save was Skip Lewis, his 5th.
Luis Tañón cracked a home run off Tazz Jones in the top of the second. His 2-run blast put the Shredders on top, 2-0. In all, Tañón had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"I liked his command," said Hollywood manager TJ Reynolds. "Chris was throwing strikes."
The 4th-place Stingers dropped to 31-24.
