The Tortolita Drummers got a superb performance from pitcher Bob Foster, but the Kansas Rainbeaus still won the game, 4-3. Foster threw 6.2 innings allowing 1 run. Mark Milligan, who is tied for 2nd in the SAAA in holds with 5, was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-2. The losing pitcher was Marc Potts. The Rainbeaus improved to a lofty 59-21.
Luis Martínez made it 4-3, in favor of Kansas when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Rainbeaus went on to win.
"There were things that we could've improved upon," said Rainbeaus manager Jorge Otero, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
