Rocks Suffer One-Run Loss at Kansas
|
The Kansas Rainbeaus picked up a win at Wichita Field, dropping the Plymouth Rocks, 4-3. Bob Bradley, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in complete games with 2, was the difference-maker. The first-place Rainbeaus, at 72-23, lead the Silver AAA by 14 games.
Making an impact for the home team was Allen Wright. In the bottom of the fifth, the 23-year old second baseman had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 4-0, Rainbeaus.
"It never gets old," said Wright. "Winning, that is."
