Austin and Tortolita got after it at Drummers Ballpark.

The Austin Black Mambas used the hitting of shortstop Joaquín González to subdue the Tortolita Drummers, 7-3. For the game, González was 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. Alejandro Paboal came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 6-6.

Gary Blackburn had a big 2-run triple for the Black Mambas in the top of the fourth inning. With Austin leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a changeup from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Juan Torres and swatted a triple to left. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Black Mambas ahead, 5-0.

"Our approach was just to try to see something over the plate and be aggressive," González told the Austin Bulletin.

Austin, with the win, climbs to 28-69.
