The Hollywood Shredders beat the New Orleans Voodoo, 4-1, at The Hollywood Bowl. Starting pitcher Chris Johnston was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. After today's action, Hollywood sits at 24-36; New Orleans slips to 37-23.

With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Stanley Johnston had a game-changing hit. The Shredders catcher slammed a 2-run single off Phil McKinley, making the score 4-1, Hollywood.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Shredders manager TJ Reynolds, "I like our chances."
