Rock City Grind Out 2-1 Win

In a low-scoring contest between the Detroit Rock City and the Kingston Ponies, Steve Kidd, who is tied for 9th in the 3L in wins with 4, proved to be the difference. The Detroit right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-1 Rock City win. Kidd picked up the win for Detroit, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. Daniel Haney was called on to finish, recording his 7th save.
Yic Hsi had a direct impact on the outcome. Hsi contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put Detroit up, 2-0.
