The first-place St. Louis Coeur picked up another win.

The St. Louis Coeur cruised to a win over the Buckhead Bowties, 14-3, at The BFIB. Ricardo Pérez, who is tied for 8th in the 3L with a .402 on-base percentage, led the way, going 3-for-4 for St. Louis. Dan Hewitt got the win, improving to 6-4. He worked 8.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 0.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Pérez hit a run-scoring double off Lloyd McGlory. It propelled the Coeur into the lead, 2-1.

"We hit the ball on the barrel," said St. Louis manager Scott McMahon.

St. Louis is now 40-19, 3 games up in the Third League.
