Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Dayton Dirty Reds and Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC.

The Dayton Dirty Reds beat the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 6-5, at Great Northern Field. José Cuebas, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win went to Stanley Thompson in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Ray Duncan took the loss.

Cuebas had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 2-1 slider from Ray Duncan, he banged a run-scoring double to center, giving the Dirty Reds a 6-5 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Cuebas.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Cuebas.

The third-place Dirty Reds bumped their record to 42-25.
