Ponies Stymied by Dirty Reds, Crawford
Daryl Crawford, who finished 5th in the 3L in wins with 12 last year, was terrific for the Dayton Dirty Reds in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Kingston Ponies. His performance earned Crawford rave reviews. The Dirty Reds now have a record of 47-28 with the win over Kingston.

Crawford was effective against the Ponies, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The left-hander limited Kingston to just 1 run on 2 hits over 9 innings.

"We've got a great group of guys," Crawford said, "and we're having fun right now."
