Tai sun Rang, who is tied for 5th in the 3L with a 3.12 ERA, propelled his team to victory over the Buckhead Bowties. The final score was 2-0, Mexico City. Rang got the win, improving to 12-5. He gave up 4 hits and walked 3 over 5.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Steven Boon picked up the save for Mexico City, his 15th of the year.
The Bowties had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Blue Demons going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old shortstop Ooze Abraham Siebert came to the plate. Siebert hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 fastball from Buckhead hurler Max Meltdown. It was Siebert's 23rd double of the year.
Mexico City manager JJ Hoban praised his team's "energy."
Mexico City's record now stands at 44-41, placing them 4th in the Third League.
