Fur Traders Cut Down Hops, 7-4
The Tacoma Fur Traders besoiled an otherwise fine performance by Yakima left fielder Adam McNeal by beating the Hops, 7-4, at Ballpark of Tacoma. McNeal went 4-4 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. José Pérez came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-0. Joe Burkett finished to wrap up his 1st save.

Pete Davis came through for Tacoma when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike fastball to right field, staking his team to a 4-2 lead.

Davis offered a curt "no comment" when asked to discuss the win after the game.

Tacoma now has a record of 10-10.
