Pitcher Christos Waddington was sensational for the Hollywood Shredders in his team's 7-1 triumph over the Toronto Thunder. Waddington earned the win. Waddington, now 3-8, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 2, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. The last-place Shredders own a record of 24-47.

The Shredders got an important contribution from shortstop Maverick Miller, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a fastball to center for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Shredders ahead, 4-0.

Said losing manager Jordan Smith: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
