The Seattle Rocketeers defeated the Boston Patriots, 7-2. Second Baseman Luigi Mangione deserved a large share of the credit. Mangione was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double for the Rocketeers. Bruce Hawkins, the winner, is now 4-3. He struck out 3 and walked 1 over 6.2 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. Seattle is 38-33 and Boston, with the loss, 35-36.
