A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Westwood Sixshooters and Yakima Hops.

Thanks in large part to designated hitter Kade Walls, the Westwood Sixshooters beat the Yakima Hops, 7-3. Walls went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The third-place Hops have dropped 5 straight games.

Westwood won the game in part because of Hawk Tuahsson. The second baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Sixshooters ahead, 5-3. For the game, Tuahsson had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

Walls told a Westwood Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
