Virginia Beach beat Pine Island at Virginia Beach Grounds, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to shortstop Will Lewis. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The win puts the Whales at 11-19, while the Dolphins drop to 16-14.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Lewis hit a fastball from Dallas Bullard for a run-scoring single. The Whales, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Lewis.
