The Lancaster Farmers defeated the Ottawa Fat Cats, 17-10, at Nationals Park. Lancaster catcher Sakutaro Kato had a superb performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Lancaster, at 15-16, occupies 8th place in the Menard's AA.

Lancaster used the clutch hitting of Paul Richardson to capture the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to give the Farmers the lead, 14-9. For the game, Richardson had 1 single and 3 doubles in 6 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Lancaster manager Young-hwan Hyon.
