Stewart, Rails Too Much for Whales
No one was more impactful than Tim Stewart in the 8-5 Richland win over Virginia Beach. Stewart, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AA in RBI with 35, was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. With the victory, the Rails upped their record to 20-14.

With Richland leading 5-4 in the top of the eighth, Stewart hit a changeup from Júlio Migueles for a bases-clearing double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Rails ahead, 8-4.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Richland manager Ludovic Fontaine.
