White Walkers Rally Late to Nip Rainbow Mermaids
The Buffalo White Walkers defeated the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 8-7, in United States Premier League action at Beyond the Wall. Tyler Adams pulled his weight. The 10-year veteran was 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Jerome Field notched his 4th save of the season. With the win, Buffalo goes to 28-44, while the Rainbow Mermaids fall to 33-39.

Buffalo took the lead on Adams's 11th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which came against John Schneider in the bottom of the eighth, made the score 8-7, Buffalo.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Chris Lau.
