The Graveyard was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Lancaster Farmers and Casper Ghosts.

The Lancaster Farmers defeated the Casper Ghosts, 6-5, at The Graveyard. Lancaster was led by 22-year old right fielder Shigeaki Kawaguchi, who was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. Garry Bennett, who went 6 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-3. Leland Wood was credited with the save for Lancaster, his 2nd of the season.

Lancaster used a well-timed hit by Jesús Ibarra to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Farmers ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Ibarra, "one at-bat at a time."

Lancaster, with the win, is 11-24.
