The Pine Island Dolphins downed the Lancaster Farmers, 6-5, at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Salmon P. Chase led the way, going 3-for-5 for Pine Island. The Farmers have now dropped 5 straight.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Pine Island trailing 5-4, Chase hit a fastball from Liam Fitzgerald for a 2-run single. In the blink of an eye, the Dolphins had a walk-off win.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Chase told the Pine Island Observer.
