Lancaster Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Lancaster turned a good effort from starter David Cochrane into a win over the Toledo Saboteurs at Farmers Field. The final score was 4-2. Lancaster pitcher Liam Fitzgerald got the win. He's now 3-3. Johnny Matthews was tagged with the loss. The 7th-place Farmers now have a record of 20-23.

The decisive blow was delivered by Mark MacPherson in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Johnny Matthews to win the game for Lancaster. The home crowd went nuts.

In postgame comments to the Lancaster Bulletin, Cochrane said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
