The Ghosts grabbed a win, 3-2, at The Graveyard, overcoming a fine effort from Virginia Beach pitcher Martin Sellers. Sellers went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The Ghosts, at 27-16, sit in second place in the Menard's AA.
The Ghosts got a clutch hit from second baseman Broderick Petersen. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Ghosts.
"This wasn't a good win," said Petersen. "It was a great win."
