Toledo Makes It 6 Straight with 5-3 Win
No one was more impactful than Daniel Webster in the 5-3 Toledo win over Boston. Webster, who finished 4th in the PL in hits with 122 in 2059, was 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 times. Toledo pitcher Tim Evans earned the win, hiking his record to 4-6. Jim Everhart suffered the loss. Sam Myers earned save number 16 this season.

Viet Long drove in one run for Toledo. The 25-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Orlando Díaz. It was his 28th RBI of the season.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Webster.
