The Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas powered past the Richland Rails, 8-0, at Rails Ballpark. Bob Peters provided some of the pop. He went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The second-place Cangrejos Fantasmas go to 29-19.
Ray McKenzie, the Chesapeake catcher, contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to make the score 3-0, Cangrejos Fantasmas. For the game, McKenzie went 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Today was a lot of fun," said McKenzie.
