Fur Traders RF Grimes belts 2 home runs in Win
|
A 4-RBI performance from Jack Grimes helped the Tacoma Fur Traders beat the Pine Island Dolphins, 5-3. Henry Coffey was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. The Fur Traders are now 30-20, while the Dolphins fall to 21-29.
Tacoma grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Grimes hit a 3-run home run off Tom Morris. His 2nd home run of the season put the Fur Traders out in front, 5-3.
Grimes told a Tacoma Citizen reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
