Virginia Beach right-hander Barry St. John helped his team edge Ottawa by the score of 3-2. St. John kept the opposing lineup in check. St. John, now 1-6, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 8, walking 5, and allowing no runs. Ottawa is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 7 in a row.
