With Shu-yaan Hor leading the charge, the New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Seattle Rocketeers, 9-7. Hor went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 for the Voodoo. Al Hussey came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-2. The save went to Jared Wilson, his 22nd this season.

New Orleans used a clutch hit from Rubén Vargas to get the win. The second baseman drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Voodoo ahead, 9-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We came out with clear minds and swung the bats well," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.

The second-place Voodoo have a record of 43-31.
