Getting an impressive start from Christian Jones, Tacoma beat Northville by the score of 4-2. Tacoma reliever Pablo De Los Santos snagged the win, upping his record to 5-1. Carl Rogers shouldered the loss. Picking up the save was Joe Burkett, his 7th.
Tacoma took a 3-2 lead on Todd Davis's 7th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Davis hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Northville pitcher Carl Rogers visibly frustrated.
Davis attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
Tacoma is now 25-27.
