The Lancaster Farmers defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 7-3, at Sixshooters Stadium. Sakutaro Kato, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AA with a .432 on-base percentage, was a standout performer for Lancaster. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 1 he knocked in. The winning pitcher was Brent Warner. His record now stands at 1-4. The right-hander went 5.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 8 hits for the Farmers. Liam Fitzgerald earned save number 7 this season.

Mark MacPherson provided a timely hit. The Lancaster center fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Farmers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
