Westwood and Pine Island duked it out and the Sixshooters came out victorious.

The Westwood Sixshooters topped the Pine Island Dolphins, 5-3, in M3L Double A action at Sixshooters Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Westwood pitcher Joe Smith. Manny Rodríguez earned the save, his 10th.

Westwood took the lead, 4-2, on Pedro Miranda's 5th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Pine Island pitcher Paul Clark in the bottom of the seventh.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Miranda, "and then get after it again."

Westwood has now won 5 straight.
