Dolphins left fielder Edgardo Moreno left his mark on his team's 5-2 win over the Yakima Hops. Moreno hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Pine Island in the contest. Pine Island pitcher Fridon Zaminian got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Chris Bright got the loss. Earning his 8th save of the year was Dallas Bullard.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out, Justin Wallace hit a 2-2 curveball from Chris Bright for a run-scoring single. It put Pine Island in front, 2-1.
"Big win," said Wallace.
The 7th-place Dolphins bumped their record to 36-39.
