The Ottawa Fat Cats locked up a win at Nationals Park, knocking off the Virginia Beach Whales, 6-3. On the mound for Ottawa was right-hander Gary Joseph. He played a major role in the triumph. Joseph picked up the win for Ottawa, going 8 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 10-1. Ottawa raised its record to 47-38 with the win.
