|
Trevor Park was outstanding against Virginia Beach. The right-hander had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Fat Cats 6-2 win. Park got the win, improving to 6-3. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 5.2 innings. He allowed no runs. The loss makes Virginia Beach 40-46.
The Fat Cats got an important contribution from right fielder Iván Galindo, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a slider to right-center for a bases-clearing triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Fat Cats ahead, 4-0.
"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Galindo.
