The Ithaca Fighting Imps scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis at Imps Park. Ithaca pitcher Iemochi Ueda held his own in the contest. Yuk Yan, 3-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Ithaca has rattled off 8 straight wins.

Ithaca took the lead, 5-4, on Walt Meyer's 3rd home run of the season. The solo home run came off Nuevo Mexico pitcher Dan Mullally in the bottom of the eighth.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Ithaca manager Jeffrey Lewis.
